You can use + or A key. B ▒ Bosskey If the BOSS comes, then press this key. You can type DIR and CLS, exit to menu pressing ENTER. C / - (GIF/ZIP) ▒ Clear all tagged files Clears all the tagged files. Use the - and C key. D (GIF/ZIP) ▒ Display file information Show information about the file at menu bar: Filesize : Size of the file. Unzipsize: Unzipped file size. Filetype : Show filetype GIFinfo : GIF resolution Infotext : Full information, in the FILES.BBS. Totals : Number of bytes in directory Giflited : Is the file packed with GIFLITE? E (GIF) ▒ Edit slideshow Edits the external slideshow selected with ALT S. Press F1 for help F (ALLFILES) ▒ Find a text in the current directory Search for text in the current directory and move the menu bar. G (ALLFILES) ▒ Global search Type in exactly what you want to search for. All the files matching what you typed, will be appended to the search result textfile. Searchs the whole CD. The maximum number of lines in the textfile are 4500. Edit with ALT G. I (GIF/ZIP) ▒ Invert tagged files Reverse the tags. K (GIF) ▒ Kill the current slideshow Erase the current slideshow. L (GIF/ZIP) ▒ Shows the total filelist Shows you the complete list of files on the CD, that can be accessed from the menu system. M (GIF) ▒ Move tagged files to the selected slideshow Try tagging some GIFS and press M. Only GIFS can be moved, they are the only images that can run in a slideshow. Everytime you press M, you append all the tagged files. O ▒ Start screen blanker Starts the screenblanker in your installation directory. You can setup your own screenblanker with ALT O. P ▒ Password protect CDROM Password protects CDROM system. If you forget the password, reinstall from the beginning. Q (GIF) ▒ Quick search after GIF Searches and appends all found GIFS to the current slideshow. R (GIF) ▒ Browse thru all tagged files RIGHTKEY moves to next GIF. LEFTKEY moves back one GIF. ESC/F10 to stop DEL deletes file from taglist. When you see the same picture twice, it means that the viewer are at start position, when the viewer reaches the endposition it restarts from the beginning, and you will hear a beep. If you delete a tag with DEL,you can't go back and display the same picture again, because the file is not tagged anymore. S (GIF/ZIP) ▒ Search for a matching text, and tag the files This is useful if you want some files in the current dir- ectory tagged. Try searching for 1024x768, and all GIFS (if any) with this resolution, will be tagged. None of the search utilities in the menu system, are upper/lowercase sensitive. Keeps information of allready tagged files. T (GIF) ▒ Toggle the list between GIFinfo/Filesize If you want to see the filesize, instead of the GIFinfo then press T, pressing T again toggles back. U ▒ Run slideshow on the tagged files in this directory Slides the local tagged files. Remember that only GIFs can be slided. Specify the delay between images with ALT O. Pause the slideshow pressing SPACE. V ▒ View total information Gives you the information on files on the CDROM. The amount of GIF/ZIPS shown are the ones that can be accessed from the menu system, there can be more files on the CDROM. W ▒ Show DOS screen Shows the DOS screen. If you jump to DOS with ALT J and do some work in DOS mode, pressing W shows you the latest screen before you exited back to the menu system. F1 ▒ Display HELP For HELP on HELP press F1. If the CD is multilingual, then select between the dif- ferent languages with ALT L. F2 ▒ Browse thru all tagged files in the tagfile RIGHTKEY moves to next GIF. LEFTKEY moves back one GIF. ESC/F10 to stop DEL deletes file from taglist. F3 (GIF) ▒ Autorun slideshow from slideshow This allows you to run a automatic slideshow using the files you have saved in the tagfile. If you don't have files in your tagfile, then it will not run. The delay between pictures are specified with ALT O. Pause slideshow pressing SPACE, start pressing SPACE again. You can stop the slideshow pressing another key. If you want the TAGFLAG removed in the slideshow, then press T when you are asked, this way you can see what pictures you have seen, and those not seen. We deliver some predefined slideshows, ready to use. F4 (GIF) ▒ View ZIP archive View files inside ZIP archive, info about each file how its stored, unzipped size etc. F5 (GIF/ZIP) ▒ Copies the file at menu bar You need to write a destination drive and directory. Destination syntax: C:\TEST\TRYFILE Will copy the highlighted file to C:\TEST\TRYFILE Note: Its important that you don't run out of diskspace on your system drive, this can cause problems. F6 (ALLFILES) ▒ Copies the tagged files You need to write a destination drive and directory. F7 ▒ Toggle between helpmenus Lets you toggle between the helpmenus in the bottom of the screen. You don't have to press F1 everytime you want to see the functions of each key. F8 (GIF/ZIP) ▒ Calculate sum of tagged files This option calculates the sum of all the tagged files, in the current directory. F9 ▒ Show diskinformation Shows diskinfo on all drives except floppy. F10 ▒ Quit to MSDOS. Quits to MSDOS, and keeps the information in the slideshows. ALT C ▒ Clear screen Clears the screen ALT D ▒ Show time and date Opens a window, at random place, and shows the time/date. ALT E ▒ Set up external programs You can setup 10 different external programs. Syntax: #1 will transfer the highlighted file as a parameter to the program on the command line. #W wait for keypress after execution. If you want to format a floppydisk, then you can put in C:\DOS\FORMAT A: At the ALT F7 key, pressing ALT F7 executes the DOS format command. Pressing ALT F1 to ALT F10 executes the external programs. ALT F ▒ Start filemanager Starts the FM.EXE, our own filemanager. This filemanager is a BETA release, please be patient. ALT G ▒ Edit searchresults Edit the results of the search make with G, you can move found GIFS to the current selected tagfile (ALT S), press F1, for help on the editor. ALT J ▒ SHELL to DOS This function shell to MSDOS, and saves all info onto your harddisk, it remembers all info about tags etc. Start again with EXIT Do not attemp to start with \CDMENU after an exit, this could cause serious damage to the system, and you may have to reinstall, from the beginning if any important files get erased. ALT L ▒ Select help language If the CD is multilingual it selects between the dif- ferent languages. ALT O ▒ Set options Set options about type of GIFviewer, parameters etc. We deliver a package that are working 100%, if you mix it all up, you have to reinstall from the beginning. We take no responsibility for any loss of data, or other problems you may have, using other programs, that the ones we deliver. ALT R (GIF) ▒ Random show GIFS Shows GIF in random order, from the whole CD. ALT S (GIF) ▒ Select slideshow Select the slideshow to use, you can choose between 16 different slideshows: Items Filename Your own description 0 TAGFIL01.SLD : description You can make descriptions to each slideshow, press ALT S and then move the bar to the slideshow you want to edit. Press ENTER for editing, you can only edit a description when a slideshow exists. Use the UP/DOWN keys, to select the slideshow. Pressing DEL will delete the highlighted slideshow, you can only delete slideshows that are not empty. Select the slideshow used when sliding/editing (E) with space. By choosing between multiple slideshows, you can make one with one type of pictures another slideshow with something else etc. Structure for slideshows in file \CDINFO\TAGF_STR.PAS We deliver some predefined slideshows, ready to use. ALT T ▒ Start filemanager in UNZIP directory Change to the directory, where all the unzipped files are (if any), and start the filemanager. ALT X ▒ Exit to DOS Exits the menu system, but keeps all info about slideshows tags, directory information, you can even shut off your PC. Start again, accessing the CDROM and typing \CDMENU. ALT Z ▒ Show short help Shows the short help ENTER (GIF/ZIP) ▒ Shows or unpacks the file at menu bar If the file is a GIF, then it will be shown, if its a ZIP then it will be unpacked, and filemanager will be executed. SPACE (GIF/ZIP) ▒ Tag file at menu bar Tags the file at the menu bar, the bar goes down one step if a file is tagged then it gets untagged. You can see if a file is tagged, then it will have a √. Remember that you clears all tags, when you go out of a directory. UPARROW ▒ Moves up Moves the menu bar up one step. LEFTARROW ▒ Moves out of directory Moves back to the ROOT, and clears all the tagged files. RIGHTARROW ▒ Moves into directory Moves into a directory, you can also use the ENTER key. DOWNARROW ▒ Moves down Moves the menu bar down one step. HOME ▒ Moves to top of the list Moves to the top of the current directory. END ▒ Moves to bottom of the list Moves down to the bottom of the directory. PGUP ▒ Moves up one screen First it moves the menubar to the top, next time it moves a total screen up.
